Chikuma operates a variety of businesses relating to school uniforms, from design proposals for new uniforms that fulfill the needs of schools to material planning and product sales. Our strength comes from the vast amount of information we have and our ability to make proposals by taking advantage of our nationwide network of dealers and student uniform apparel companies.

Fukuiku
(Fashion Education)Chikuma believes that clothing has the power to enhance human capabilities. Clothing is deeply linked with human development and lives — for instance, environmental issues, health and safety, appropriate dressing and manner, and communication. In 2004, we proposed the concept of “Fukuiku,” the purpose of which is to nurture people’s minds through clothing.

Chikuma and SDGs
Clothing is something familiar and personal to all, but it is also a universal tool that connects people and the environment throughout the world. In view of the global environment and beings sharing lives on this planet, Chikuma continues to pursue what can be accomplished in terms of clothing.
